    Frederick Flack was born on in Southminster


    Frederick Flack joined Essex County Constabulary on .

    Before joining, Frederick worked as a Wheelwright

    Flack was promoted to Acting Sergeant on 1st October 1906, then to Sergeant on 5th March 1908.

    On 1st July 1912, he was promoted to the rank of Inspector and, upon further promotion on 12th September 1920, he was posted to Saffron Walden as the area Superintendent. He lived with his family in Thaxted Road.

    In is obituary on Friday 19th April 1926, The Saffron Walden Weekly News described how Flack had recently undergone "a serious operation for internal trouble". His funeral took place at 3 o'clock on Saturday 20th April 1929. He was survived by his wife and two daughters.
