    A.PS 1907.06.01.  

    Promoted to Ps on 1st April 1909 for his involvement in r v Dougal, the Moat Farm Murder. 

    General Order 174 - January 1903.  Commendation for highly creditable manner in which he and Pc 124 Drew detected a case of corn stealing by two men.
