Police Station Information

Halstead Police Station was opened in and closed in

It was reported in June 1851 that a piece of land opposite Trinity Church had been purchased for the purpose of building a new police station in Halstead.1

The police station was used for the first time at the beginning of May and it was described as certainly the neatest building in the town where every accommodation appears to have been provided.2
